|Mayor of Bath's 2015 Charity event.|
Morgan-Brinkhurst Consultancy were delighted to organise the Mayor of Bath's 2015 Charity event which was held at the Guildhall in Bath. We were pleased to offer sponsorship support to help with the event.
The Mayor of Bath Cllr. Cherry Beath's charity was held to celebrate 'International Women's Day'.
MBC having organised successful charity fashion shows previously were delighted to be asked by the Mayor if we would organise the event. BBC Points West reporter and presenter Imogen Sellers kindly compered the event.
Over 100 guests enjoyed fizz from Great Western Wine and delicious food from Dine with Style while watching models wearing clothes by local business lady Carole Waller, Several local businesses supported by providing make up and hairdressing for the models. Guest speaker was Margaret Heffernan and music was played by Harpist Ruth Keynon, Emily Caldwell and Caroline Kay Mouat.
We are also extremely grateful to the volunteer models and he amazing sponsors who supported the event, Curo Housing, Crest Nicolson, Ralph Allen Press, Bath & North East Somerset Council, the Charter Trustees of the City of Bath, Bath Cultural Forum, McCarten Flower Ltd and flowers from Nicky Geddes Florist. And thank to the Bath Chronicle, Bath Life and the Bath Magazine for their media support.
The Mayor was also grateful to local businesses who helped by donating prizes, the raffle and auction money that was raised was donated to the Mayor of Bath's Charity which is kindly run by St John's Hospital trust. The Mayor's charity provides support to local Bath people who fall on hard times.
