|MBC team provide support for SportingFamilyChange.|
Loraine and the Team at Morgan-Brinkhurst Consultancy are delighted to be supporting the wonderful SportingFamilyChange. We feel very honoured to have been asked to help with their Young School of Entrepreneurs Scheme. A sort of Dragons Den approach where young people are invited to come and meet with a few local business people and pitch for funding to support their project ideas. The projects have to raise money which can then be put back into Sporting Family Change to help more young people and families.
I am pleased that the first pitch we received was from young people who are organising runners in the Bath Half Marathon and the fun run on the 1st March. Members of our panel were: Lynne Fernquest (Editor of the Bath Chronicle) Cllr. Martin Veal (Chairman of Bath & NES Council) Jon Wynne (St John's Hospital Trust) and myself Loraine Morgan-Brinkhurst MBE.
Sporting Family Change is a new Bath based organisation, making a difference to local families lives through sport, physical activity and much needed holidays. Created and run by the amazing Jimmy Deane.
Sporting Family Change has a whole based approach to mentoring which is unique. SFC works with a young person within their family unit and works with them on their strengths, helps them build on these successes and support them in areas of their lives where they may find life more challenging.
