2015 Finalist

Morgan-Brinkhurst Consultancy clients Minerva Bath Ltd are delighted that they have been shortlisted and are finalists in the Bath Life Awards 2014 in the Car Dealership Category

Minerva Sports and Prestige – whose name comes from the goddess Sulis Minerva, a bust of whom was found in the 18th century in the Roman Baths – is on Box Road, Bathford.

Founded by businessmen James Currant and John Lyddy, who have more than 70 years of motor trade experience between them Minerva specialises in the sale of premium used cars, backed with a service department capable of servicing and repairing all makes of cars in Bath and West Wiltshire.

It is an independent company built one client at a time relying on reputation and referrals whilst having main dealer standards with a village garage welcome.

They are actively supporting the NSPCC over the coming months as James says: “We want to give something back and having worked with the NSPCC previously, we have seen the difference this charity makes to people’s lives.”

Top of their agenda for the business is to provide only the highest levels of customer service where they pledge that if they cannot find the exact car wanted when someone walks in the door, given a little time, they will find the right one.

James said “We are over the moon to have been shortlisted as finalists in the Bath Life Awards for our company to have been recognised only 6 months since we started the business is an incredible achievement”.

John, said: “Everything we do is aimed at providing a quality service whether it is when someone buys a car or in the service department, no matter how large or small their purchase.

“We have the latest diagnostic equipment and we have the facilities to care for all types of cars. Already we have seen people travelling to buy vehicles from as far away as South Wales and Devon and even Scotland.
“In business financial success comes from having satisfied customers there’s nothing simpler than that.”
James added “I still have the same passion and love for cars as I did when I left school at 16 and hope that I share that with our customers”.
