Dick Jenkins, Chief Executive of Bath Building Society said "Bath Building Society aims to support as many initiatives as possible, but funds do not allow us to financially support every organisation that approaches us. As the profile of our community support has grown, so has the number of letters that we receive requesting assistance, we started the awards to enable us to give grants to various charities and organisations. We are very grateful to the Mayor of Bath, Quartet Community Foundation and The Bath Chronicle for their support in Bath Building Society’s charity awards".

The winners will be announced in October at a reception in the Mayors Parlour at the Guildhall in Bath.
