Cllr Marian McNeir MBE , Chairman of the Silver Ring Choir of Bath, said “ I am thrilled the choir will be sharing their 60th Anniversary concert with internationally famous jazz singer Jamie Cullum. Jamie and his equally talented brother Ben have written a wonderful new song called ‘Silver’ especially for this Diamond Celebration which will be sung by Jamie and the choir for the first time at our April 30th concert. Jamie is on tour in Germany but sent a special message which I was pleased to read out at the launch reception. Jamie thanked everyone for attending the launch and saying how much he was looking forward to performing with the choir on 30th April at the Forum at what he was sure would be "a ‘wicked’ concert".

Marian thanked Jamie's parents for their huge support for the choir Yvonne, Jamie and Ben's mum is a much valued member of the choir. Marian is encouraging everyone to buy their tickets for what will be a sell out concert. The Festivals Box Office will start selling them a few weeks before Christmas.
