|Sir Michael Caine on to the stage at the Cheltenham Literature Festival|
Rensburg Sheppards Investment Management in Cheltenham were delighted to welcome Sir Michael Caine on to the stage at the Cheltenham Literature Festival this year. The event took place at the Centaur at Cheltenham Racecourse with an audience of over 2000 people.
Rensburg Sheppards held a VIP reception for their guests in the Panoramic Restaurant before their guests joined the audience who were then enthralled by Sir Michael's talk about his filming career and the promotion of his book.
MBC were pleased to organise the Rensburg Sheppards VIP reception as well as a chance to meet Sir Michael Caine. MBC were also instrumental in preparing and sending out the press releases associated with the event.
The wealth management company which has been based in Cheltenham for over 40 years, sponsored one of the main events at the 61st Literature Festival at the Cheltenham Racecourse on Sunday 10th October.
The 'The Elephant to
Hollywood' event charted Sir Michael's life from rags to riches and from London to Los
Angeles. There was also a chance for guests to ask the national treasure questions about
his life and career which shows no signs of slowing down.
Staff from Rensburg Sheppards met Sir Michael Caine before the event when he praised the festival and said how important it is that local businesses continue their support: Morgan-Brinkhurst Consultancy's press associate Laura Harrison had the enviable job of interviewing Sir Michael before he then took the stage for this event. Sir Michael Caine said "The supporters are terribly important and I want to thank Rensburg Sheppards for sponsoring my talk this evening. This literature festival, in particular, is one of the best, it's fantastic. I didn't realise how big it was but I was watching the television yesterday and suddenly they featured the festival. It's enormous!"
Sir Michael also shared with
the sponsors his love of reading and his plans to write a fictional story one day:
